AcrylicsMy medium of choice
I started acrylics at an early age - say 15 maybe - and am lucky enough to have it as my favorite hobby. I find inspiration though Pinterest and quotations in which I've developed my "canvas quote" style. Although mostly for my own satisfaction and decoration needs, I have sold many paintings through commission projects and just some spring cleaning. It's a passion I took on fully and would love to continue for the rest of my life |
WaterColorAlthough a medium I have yet to understand, my passion for watercolors is a strong one. Although mostly for fun, I have dabbled in a few watercolor classes and took a large interest in the medium during my semester abroad due to it's compact and convenient nature. I even created my own travel pallet with noting other than clay, an Altoids tin, and a handful of my favorite colors.

CalligraphyI blame Pinterest for most things in my life and I think it's safe to say this is one of the biggest contenders. Thankfully if it weren't for my interest in calligraphy my canvas quote hobby may not have developed in the way it did. I've always been obsessed with penmanship so this was just a fun way to better it. Although faux pen calligraphy is my method of choice, I do have various pens and quills I hope to better my skills in in the near future. It's a great hobby to have and one I see paying off when needed

drawingNot my favorite form of art but one I still like to indulge with! After all, I do have a degree in architecture.. So enjoy some side doodles as well as work I've done for Miami's mbook!

Other ThingsI was always a crafty child. Although my later years took a switch to painting, I still help that part of me close. My pull towards art has always been fueled by the spirit of creating something out of nothing, or repurposing something that was now nothing. Some of my favorite crafts have come in the from of cards, clay, wood, and even pop tabs! I made a bag.. It was an odd time in my life
